C+ my first quarter senior year! Please Help!

I'm worried now.

I applied ED and EA to several schools (Cornell, UChicago, Santa Clara and Northeastern) and I just heard that although they won't look at your first semester senior grades, they do look at your first quarter senior grades, and unfortunately, I signed up for 4 of the hardest AP classes at my school plus spanish 7-8 (which is virtually AP level) and is a class that I unfortunately received a C+ grade in my first quarter (by 0.6 percent too!)

Now I'm worried and ****ed at myself. The semester ends soon and unfortunately, my grade is still floating around the B-/C+ range in a class I don't need, don't like and now cannot transfer out of.

I'm prepping like crazy for the final and talking to my teacher in hopes I can find some extra credit or something to prevent me from getting a C in my first semester senior year, but to explain the first quarter grade (and in the event that I do end up receiving a C first semester) should I write a letter to the colleges that I have already applied to? When/how soon should I send it? I'm also applying to UC's and CSU's which I have heard do not really consider Senior year grades; is this true?

I'm seriously freaking out now and need to know what I can/should do ASAP.

I appriciate all advice/insight and thank you all in advance :)

Hello! I see no one replied to your questions, but I hope everything went well. I’m in danger of a C+ as well, and I was just wondering if the C+ affected your acceptance much? It is my first C+ ever, and I am very much stressing out about it, so I guess I just want some reassurance that it won’t affect admissions xD
