I am a junior and I have never gotten a C before. I am an A student with occasional Bs. 1 B freshman year, As sophomore year, one B+ first semester English 11 honors.

My C is in AP Calculus BC. I have a very difficult teacher who believes an AP course means an actual college course. As in our grade consists of 2 midterms and a final for first semester, and 1 midterm and a final second semester. The only thing is the other Calc BC students at my school are getting As easily because different teachers..are different. and easier. My A first semester is due to the more generous curves, and...I guess I just did better first semester.

Will this one C severely hurt me in college admissions? (as opposed to a B in the class) I am thinking of the top UCs (UCB, UCLA, etc.) and/or good private schools. (My SAT is 2270 if that is relevant.) The only thing left for me to do is get a 5 on the calc exam. Will the 5 show anything about my teacher/the course at my school, or does it simply look like I slacked off second semester? I think I'm getting a B in APUSH second semester too..the rest of my classes are As though.

Thanks! I am very worried :(
