<p>Rice (7-1 C-USA | 9-3 Overall) is playing Marshall (7-1 C-USA | 9-3 Overall) at Rice stadium on Saturday for the C-USA championship. A Rice victory would be our first outright conference championship since 1957.</p>

<p>Great win!! Sadly, the ice storm cancelled my flight and I wasn’t able to watch it in person. The turnout seemed to be good.</p>
<p>Rice is headed to the liberty bowl in Memphis (Dec 31). Will play an SEC opponent I believe. Vandy would be ideal, but Mississippi State is being thrown around as a potential.</p>
<p>I don’t think there’s any way Duke could play in the Liberty Bowl. If the SEC can’t fulfill its bid, the spot goes to the AAC. I’d really like to see a matchup with Vandy.</p>
