Looking for feedback on this as a major. Alternately looking at straight business/ applied economics majors.
I head to brown this fall with a concentration in this, was hoping to hear some feedback. My cousin graduated a few years ago and said some of his friends completed this program (I believe at thag time it was the other program name) in addition to Econ. Each of them now work in the Financial industry. My understanding is it will provide you with an excellent foundation and you can cater your course work towards your industry business goals. Eventually I will find out first hand.

Will do. I won’t be able to give a true assessment for a while, but I think it’s safe to make assumptions on the quality of education and program overall. There are a lot of colleges putting an emphasis on the same areas and in addition offer students the opportunity to focus in various industries. So with the open curriculum I imagine it’s what each individual makes of it and what road they choose to travel.
