C vs W

<p>Hello All,</p>

<p>I am currently a freshmen and am planning on applying to Berkeley as a transfer. I met the 90 units requirement to transfer. However, I was wondering what would look worse on the application...a C or a W. I am not doing too well in my Calculus class. I know I can get a C in that class, but I was wondering if I should just drop the class and get a W or stick it out with a C. I am planning to transfer as an Econ major so Calc is one of my prereq classes. All help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!</p>
