CA CC Student Transferring to CSU with One Class Missing

Hi,

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I couldn't really find any clear answers.

I'm a California Community College student trying to transfer to SFSU. I was already accepted based on the condition that I complete all my General Education requirements and earn 60 transferable credits by the end of the Spring semester for 2013.

I should have more than 60 credits completed by then, but I'm not sure if I will be able to finish all my GE classes. I don't really have time to attend a Communications class, and it doesn't fit my schedule. Will I be 100% guaranteed to be rejected/rescinded just because I'm missing this one lousy class?

Or is there a possibility I could email Admissions and tell them I'll take it in the summer? I know they say they want ALL classes completed by May, but I don't think I can finish it.

Has this ever worked for anyone?

It would probably be better to call the admission office. I know that completing the golden four classes is required before transferring and communication is a pretty easy course if you can fit it in your schedule.
