<p>No, they do not favor instate students. The GPA varies and it’s very much of an overall package in importance - mine wasn’t very high, but I got waitlisted at UCSF, and was rejected at UCSD. I had about a 3.1 in prerequisite GPA and a high PCAT, but pharmacy schools in CA don’t use that exam.</p>
