CAD Software for ME

Which of these programs is good to learn for a ME?

Pro/E (3 credits)
AutoCAD (2 credits)

I already have Solidworks experience (took a 3 credit course this semester). I would like to have experience in one more program. Eventually, I would like to go into the attraction rides area. There's a good chance, but I'm still thinking about it. Is Pro/E or AutoCAD most likely used? I don't think I can take both, because my schedule is quite full.

Good luck with that attractions ride industry plan.

People who design attractions rides (I presume you’re talking roller coasters) are typically either MEs or Structurals, and according to Chance Morgan’s website, the engineers use Solidworks and everything’s then drafted in CAD. I’d take the AutoCAD course just based upon your eventual career goal, but Solidworks experience is what you really need.

Is Chance Morgan a really good company to work for? They don’t have much information on their website, and there is no where to apply for a job/internship.
