My brother said that the dropping was suspended for this past week because some cadre over stepped the bounds and a NC or two were pushed too far, and a 1SG (his Co. in fact) was relieved for dropping NCs in the shower. That's the thing about CBT---it's training for the NCs, sure, but it's also leadership training for the upperclass, and some of them still need quite a bit of refining, the good thing is, there are great officers, and some great cadet leadership that monitor it and keep it stressful and hard, but maintain the necessary respect and level of safety to accomplish the mission. But, NC Brother also said that they were going to resume dropping this new week with the new cadre. Hopefully this cadre keeps in reasonable, cause really, the push ups are a GOOD THING! My pushups from my first APFT to my second APFT in Beast increased by 20 or so...the pushups are good for them when done right!

Bzzzt, yep those were our barracks at Knox--they were NOT fun to be in, but a memory none-the-less---so welcome to the "Grad side" of being able to say, with a smile, "the Corps has" and "Back in the Old Corps!" :)
