Cadet, Staff, and Faculty Blogs

I thought many of you might be interested in reading a Blog run by West Point Admissions. It can be found at the West Point Admissions Blog Site.

You will find fairly recent posts, including the one from Anastasia that talks a little about the recent Army Navy game. It's a great read for anyone considering coming to West Point.

Mike, thanks for posting. Anastasia's blogs are great!

Thanks... I agree completely. I think these more personal messages from cadets will really help candidates understand a bit more about West Point and all of its facets.

Take care.

I agree, great reading and gives someone a much better view of reality. Curious if you know how they get chosen to post their stories, does admissions randomly pick them, do they volunteer or ?????

They were chosen on a volunteer basis; e-mails were sent out in each regiment looking for volunteers from each class, especially focusing on people who are active in admissions volunteer work already.

There are some recent blog postings that many of you may find useful at the the West Point Admissions Blog Site. Several talk about Spring Break and at least one talks about Beast Preparations (Anastasia). Anastasia's also gives some great advice unique to women coming to West Point.

The [West Point Admissions Blog Site](http://blogs.chatuniversity.com/usma/) now has a blogger named “Step Ahead of Beast” that talks about physical preparation for Beast. There is a new post on there today concerning blisters and how to avoid them.
