I'm just wondering if we're able to see AP scores on the portal as TRANSFER CREDIT and when?

haha i was wondering that too…i remember reading early august…man i wish they put them in now!

I was hoping they would put those up too! When I took APUSH and AP Language last year, I put NU as my score receiver (even though I wasn’t sure I’d get in), but even those scores weren’t up on that section for CAESAR when I checked yesterday. Ugh.

I had a frustrating experience with this last year. Even though I had put NU as the recipient of my scores, they never showed up on CAESAR. Finally, I had to zerox a copy of my score report and physically bring it in to an office so it would be entered into the system. I would recommend bringing a copy of your score report to campus with you for this reason, although I wouldn’t start worrying about it yet.

@iloveanimals if you put NU as your receiver when you take ap exams your senior year of hs collegeboard will send all scores including those from previous years.

AP scores don’t show up on your transfer credit report. You have to send them to NU if you haven’t already (current transcript doesn’t cut it), and it will appear on your unofficial transcript.

And where do I find this “unofficial transcript”? I looked all over CAESAR just now and couldn’t find anything like that.

Are you sure about that, sirsteveh? When I go to “View Transfer Credit Report,” I see my AP scores. Also, if you go to “AP/IB Credit Distribution,” you can decide which APs you want to apply towards your distros.

Both of these things are under the heading “Academic Information” after you click on “For Students.” (Your unofficial transcript should under “Acadmic Information” as well.)

I directed it to northwestern via collegeboard this past may.

Oh, D’oh! I missed it since it’s the section on the bottom, siemprecuriosa, I didn’t scroll beyond the space after the course credits. To my credit, they weren’t on my initial report. Thanks for correcting me. I had to get a hold of Dean Weimer and send him a scan of my official college board AP score card, though things were admittedly a bit messy in the winter.

Does any1 have scores posted from this year’s ap scores??

^ Not yet. I don’t think they’ll show up before the mail comes anyways.

In other news, I had a dream where I got 3 5’s and 3 1’s.

How will we know if NU got our scores or not if they don’t show them on CAESAR until the school year almost starts??

I think today, new students finally have the “For Students” option on CAESAR instead of the “For Applicants” option. I looked at my unofficial transcript, transfer credit, and AP/IB distribution, but the scores still aren’t there…

Call the office at Weinberg that handles AP scores. They can verify receipt and tell you what courses you have credit for.

Thanks for the suggestion, Objective~

I emailed them yesterday and for anyone who’s also wondering, here’s the reply:

“Dean Richard Weimer processes all AP scores, and they will be posting starting around August 15. If by September 1 you don’t see anything on your CAESAR record here, you could scan a copy and email it to him at: rpw@northwestern.edu. Or you can simply bring that to campus when you arrive in the fall and submit them to Dean Weimer directly.”

So there you go! :)

anyone’s score show up yet? >.<
