cafe in berkeley open 24 hrs?? or library??
where can I find a place to stay at night?

People's Park.

where is it?

People's Park is next to Unit 2 (lol, wiki it).

I don't think any of the libraries are open 24 hours a day (except during finals time). Not sure about cafes though.

A place to stay... for what? To study? To sleep? To talk to people?

Berkeley is NOT a 24-hr town. You'll be hard pressed to find much open after 8pm that isn't a bar. Au Coquelet down on University is open 'til 1am or so, and that's among the latest I'm aware of.

lol People's park. very nice..

hahahahaha

hahahaAHAHAHAHHhahahhHAHAHAHAHAH

dreamspace: "where is it?"

HAHAHAHAHHAhahhahahaha

Unless you're an EECS major or something, you're mainly limited to your dorm.

As an EECS major though, Soda Hall and Cory Hall are in operation 24/7 and have lots of extremely quiet, well-lighted, and comfortable study places. Doesn't get much better than that...

really? cory hall is 24/7? do they check if ur eecs major though?

You need to have a special access card. I don't know if they let friends of EECS students use the facilities.

They don't, unfortunately. I mean, I don't think they'll card anyone, but the door signs say you have to have access, haha. I was barely allowed in to turn in my homework Friday night before my cardkey was activated.
