You don't need a prescription or anything, and one pill is usually the equivalent of a cup of coffee. (In that case, why not just make a cup of coffee?)

I'm just wondering, does anyone here take it? Know anything about it?

What's a safe amount to take a day - if any? The website says not to take it past 4 pm. What if you're trying to stay up late - can you take it at 12 am in hopes of staying up a few extra hours?

I have read that all-nighters are really bad for you and mess up your sleeping pattern for up to 2 weeks. But I've never pulled one so I wouldn't personally know.

I've also heard bad things about caffeine pills... something about weird side affects... but once again, never tried them.

omg, this guy at my school got addicted to them....it was horrible, caffeine pills are really dangerous. his friends finally had to confront him about it. he doesn't take them anymore :)

I used to take caffeine pills, but only on nights when I wouldn't get home until like 11 and then had lots of homework to do. They do work decently, but I did develop a tolerance to the pills and you can get really shaky. One night I was so desperate, I took six at once (not the best idea) and couldn't sleep for way too long! Yeah, I haven't taken them since!

The problem with caffeine pills is that it's easy to go too far because they're just pills rather than a whole cup of coffee or can of energy drink. It doesn't seem like a huge deal to take a pill, so you can easily build up tolerance as well as dependency.

Also, you should not need supplements in high school or you won't be able to handle college. At all.
