<p>I'm an incoming freshman. I don't have my cal 1 card yet and I am planning on getting it during welcome week. I'm moving in on Saturday, August 20. Will I be able to dine at the dining halls without a cal 1 card until I get one?</p>

<p>I think you can pay cash at the dinning hall. It may just be a little bit more expensive than using meal points.</p>
