You JUST made a password, miabella?

alll my stuff is in..i didnt remember the password....i totally forgot about all that until just now..LMOA, my bad...

ilovecalifornia: Please, for YOUR own good, take notes:

You're= you+are, as in, "You're a high school student."

Your= possessive, as in, "Your baseless assumptions are entertaining."

Guys, I've been in Ireland for the last week and--apparently--Berkeley sent me an additional electronic form to fill out since the last time I checked the application website (without sending me an e-mail notification).

The form basically asks me to discuss a disability that I disclosed to them--a disease that causes me to generate recurring cancers--for their consideration in the comprehensive review of my application.

I've submitted the completed form and plan to call the office tomorrow to ask if comprehensive review is indeed over (as previous posts indicate). Do you guys think that I missed the window of opportunity here?

I don't think you can trust the posts here. Call.

I agree with Gabe. They are the only ones who actually know.

AWWwww... why do they make us wait and suffer? :( Please just release the decisions... darn it

haha o man, the last 2 threads that had heated flame wars were political in nature, this is just silly. I'm bigger than you! I'm better than you!

everyone needs to chill out. and why start an acceptance thread for berkeley 2 weeks in advance? nothing more than spam fodder

how about people start posting their intended majors and gpa? ill start

legal studies 3.7

goooooooooood luck! but after reading

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/sats/who/

i'm pretty sure luck is against me. cal is way too focused on "overcoming things," not really about being the best there.

3.6 Anthropology - cultural

what do you men overcoming things? can't anybody just make up a story about overcoming something, as minor as it may be?

what are some good examples of overcoming things????

Well you know what they say: What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger.

Damn it! I just called the admissions office, which was not very helpful. Basically, I told the admission officer that I was out of the country during the last week and had received no notification by e-mail that another form had been requested. I proceeded to ask her if I had submitted the form in time. She said she didn't know (why the hell am I calling the admissions office if they can't answer basic admissions questions!!!!!) but "at least I had submitted it." What kind of condolance is that?!?! At least I submitted it?! What, I should be freaking proud of myself for filling out a questionairre?!?! This is so infuriating!

Wait..another form has been requested? Is this just in your specific case, or was it sent to everyone?

You should call back and ask her if she doesn't know, who can you talk to who does. Be polite, but seriously, don't let her ruin your chances...even though I'm sure you are fine.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll heed it once I've calmed down a bit ... otherwise, I think I'll explode on the phone if I get the same sort of reply.

Regarding the form. It's a Fall 2006 Applicant Questionnaire. It seems pretty much tailored for kids who've indicated that they have some sort of condition/disability within their initial application. So, I don't think it's something you have to worry about. Hopefully, for me, it means that they're actually considering my application for admission. I'll try to find out what is going on with that form in a couple hours.

did myberkeleyapp change for anyone else?? One of the original three required forms is missing.

No, everything remains the same

wonder if it means anything...especially since i added a minor late update to form that is now missing.
