<p>The website has had a couple issues--it was never supposed to say May 5; that might have been a date for freshmen.</p>
<p>reception is pretty pointless anyway, just a way to celebrate your admission and eat free pizza and drink kool-aid that's been watered down. Basically it's a party to formally welcome you into the establishment. Don't bow down to the man just yet.</p>

<p>Made my CALso reservation for 6/22. :D Some student from UCB called me last night to remind me of the reception at LAX Hilton, but the impression I got was that it wasn't anything important. Just a way to mingle with the folks and get your groove on. So I probably won't be attending because it would be inconvenient for my schedule anyway.</p>
<p>Calso is worth it because you get preferred course enrollment for your first 10.5 units.</p>

<p>Mine was added 3 days after I submitted my SIR.</p>
