Cal Day and the Overnight Host Program on the 20th

Hey anyone know about the OHP for April 20th before Cal day? I wanna register but i don't know if i still can. I just got regent so i am eligible but i kinda made up my mind to go visit a lil late. So is it too late to still register for the Overnight host program? Let me know if u guys have any info on that...

my d signed up for the OHP as an Alumni Scholarship finalist and all the spots were taken several days ago
they still had room on the waiting list

so do u know where i could sigh up then?

you should have gotten an email with a link and info-

i got invited to OHP with the invitation to interview for regent... so i was hesistant to register. So is there is a place to register online?

it is in the myberkeley page under myevents I registered on the saturday, 2 days after the decision was released and I received the word yesterday confirming the plane ticket and everything

Do parents come to Cal Day or is it mostly students?

^ parents come as well

I didn't even send in my waiver and they still emailed me saying that I wasn't in the overnight program. haha. oh well........me and my friend at cal are going to do it "unofficially." going to be funnn =]

does cal day overlap with the OSP? Is it worth it to come to cal day if already done with OSP?

Check out the Cal Day program... it's posted at www.berkeley.edu. There are a lot of things going on that day for you and your parents. I recommend it.

thanks for the Cal Day link. I am soo excited going. We're driving up from L.A. and I've already connected with a friend who's going to take off in the afternoon from her work to meet up. I see there's going to be housing tours. Do you know if it's best to be there for the first one before the crowds? My friend said she had to sign a waiver so people could visit her dorm room.

beatchick: i remember the tours last year being easy to get on, not long waits. they will take you to a traditional double and triple in the units. if you want to see clarke kerr, you have to go up there to see them also, same with foothill. i recommend seeing at least the units. mini suites were not on tour last year.
