So I've been looking through the general program for Cal Day to plan my day this Saturday and got a little confused about how it is set up. Are events hour long events or more like a "walk in whenever you like" kind of thing. There are a few interesting things I would like to see, all between 10-11.
Any input would be much appreciated.

it depends on the type of event i believe. Some events are more lecture oriented, and so walking in in the middle of it is a bit intrusive (for lack of a better word). But it’s not like anyone will stop you from doing so.

Yeah, definitely a mix of different kinds of events, some of which are ‘just walk in whenever’ and others are a defined time.

Look at the Calday web site sorted by time and you will see the time ranges for events, at least. Then you need to dive into the description to guess whether it is a come-any-time thing or a fixed duration.

[Cal Day 2010 - View Events by Time](http://caldayur-prod.berkeley.edu/program_by_time.cfm?GetStartTime=2010-04-17+10%3A00%3A00.0&GoTime=Go)

For example, the MCB Lab Tour says “tour begins promptly” thus this requires you there by 10. Coffee Hour at Moffitt is a drop in whenever event. Most are specific sit down sessions.
