Cal Deferred Spring enrollment or UCLA?

Hey Cc community,

I have to make a really hard decision. I interested in business and want to pursue a career in management consultant. I am aiming to work for companies such as Bain and Capital, Boston Consulting Group, etc. and I kniw they both recruit at ucla and cal. However, I am scared that I will not be competitive enough for cal and since I am already in for prr econ for ucla. I guess I am asking for your thoughts and opinions about which school's better or the strengths and weaknesses of each.

Thanks!

It’s hard to compare undergraduate educations, but I assume opportunities are both competitive and great at both institutions. I am not familiar with the business field. Try looking at other factors, such as cost of attendance, distance from home, and overall feel of each institution. I know of friends who are thriving in regards to their business career goals at Cal, but most of my pre-biz-econ friends have converted to a science related field at UCLA. If I remember correctly, Cal has a highly ranked business school called Haas or something whatever. Our business school, Anderson, is so-so in my books, but only because I’m not familiar with its name.
