Hey all,

I am trying to decide whether I should transfer UCD -> UCB. The main factor is whether I can get into the economics major during the first semester there.

Davis GPA: 3.85
Major GPA: 4.0
Finished econ reqs
Finished math reqs with Calculus AP and Math1B. Just need to take Stat20
UC reciprocity (if that helps)

Chance?

Intercampus transfer? I’m trying to do the same from UCR, economics.
Your GPA looks good. But from research about econ in UCB, it seems that it’ll be safer if your UCD GPA can bump up .5 to 3.9. And also, your EC’s and Personal statement matter as well
And for stat 20, I thought if you have taken all your math courses, Stat 20 must be taken at UCB when admitted? (at least that’s what I read on the site)

Overall, looks good!

if you take a calculus based statistics course at your UC, it should be pretty easy to petition for Stat 2x credit as long as you show the syllabus covers continuous density functions.
