<p>I just got accepted and it said that my fafsa has not even been received yet. However i submitted it weeks before the deadline and i did list berkeley as the school. Anyone else have this?</p>

<p>Can those of you who have this message check your online SAR comments (on the FAFSA site) and see if your FAFSA was selected for verification? Mine was . . . I wonder if this has anything to do with it???</p>

<p>Verification means that the school needs to actually check certain docs . . . I was selected for verification in 2008 . . . had to provide a copy of my W2, id, and tax return. </p>

<p>does anybody else have an experience with their fafsa being selected for verification? If so, please share your experiences. Also are we supposed to get something in the mail or an email that will tell us what to do?</p>

school has the authority to request copies of certain financial documents from
you (and your spouse).</p>
<p>I also have this and states that I need to provide proof of citizenship. </p>
<p>On the cal site it says:</p>
<p>We have not received a FAFSA from you. If you have not filed a FAFSA and wish to apply for financial aid, follow this link to file your application. If you have filed a FAFSA already, please follow the link to insure that you have listed UC Berkeley school code 001312.</p>
<p>I guess we’ll just wait to see if they update it =/</p>
<p>I sent them an email on friday night about this, obviously haven’t heard back. I’m actually going to stop by the Fin Aid office tomorrow so I will keep everyone posted.</p>

<p>mine says " Your file is incomplete because a required document is missing or a document you submitted is still being processed. Go to the Required Documents page for detailed information about your file."</p>
<p>I really have no clue what document. I already update how many siblings are going to school. I’ll wait for a day to see if they updated it. </p>

<p>^same here. they say they need verification that i am independent. But seeing how i am over 24 yrs old…not sure why they would need verification</p>
<p>mine said I need verification but it gave me no reason why. It says look at the checklist at the bottom, but there is no checklist</p>
<p>I am kind of worried because it says i was selected for verification too. and that i need to fill out the forms that they mailed to me? but i haven’t received any forms besides the ones sent from the federal student aid program long ago to correct any mistakes, if i had any. Anybody get forms?</p>
