So I bought the football season ticket online a week or two ago and for some reason I never got that email for printing tickets at home. Today I logged onto my account and clicked on re-issue email to print tickets and it says no tickets on this account to be re-issued. I mean I paid and my debit card was charged the $94 and all but didn't get the tickets...anyone bought tickets and get them in the mail or email?

First question, are you a student season ticket holder or regular season ticket holder? If you are a student, you won’t get any tickets in the mail or e-mail - they will just scan your ID card. If it is regular season tickets, I would say you need to call Cal athletics and see what is going on or when the tickets will be issued.

Ohh I’m a student ticket holder so I guess that explains it. However, what’s funny is that as of right now it says student tickets won’t be on sale until July 21, except I bought mine a week ago…
Also student ticket doesn’t let you choose seating section right?

Yep. Student section seating (standing actually lol) is first come first serve, so if you want to sit up front, get there early.

This is strange because I wanted to buy cal football season tickets too (I will be a freshman next year) and the pamphlet advertising the season tickets specifically said that season tickets go on sale on the 21st. Could it be that freshmen have a later purchase date?

Are football games worth the money?

Hell yeah!

skze,

Supposedly the freshmen tickets do not go on sale until July 21, but I have heard rumors of some already purchasing them. So I’d go online and see if you can buy them now. If so, then do it, if not just wait until the 21st :)

JteH,

Football games are VERY worth it. Even if you aren’t a big football fan they are very entertaining, and you get some of the best seats on the house. The atmosphere is just something you can not replicate anywhere.

Do these include away games?

no away games

Also I’m a freshman and I got my tickets like early July so it’s not a rumor. I think for a few days they were selling them online but then they shut it down until 21st.

How do we buy tickets for the big game? do they sell them at berkeley?

How many freshman get season tickets? Like if you don’t will you feel left out as everyone else in your hall/suite will be going to the games?

I bought mine about 3 days back.

Football is such a ■■■■■■■■ sport. Its just a bunch of big guys running into each other. So much aggression… Why waste your time and money, go do something else. Let me guess, some redneck is gonna start posting hateful replies… If you like football so much, why watch other people play and not play yourself? HA! you’re willing to pay to watch people run into each other.

just curious, what sport are you into? or at all?

In the great scheme of sports, college football is an amazing spirited and sometimes beautifully graceful sport. Certainly not as harmful as boxing or bullfighting.

College football is amazing! And yes, students pour into the stadium – student tickets sell out.

It’s more about school spirit and enjoying the game with others.

What a loser. He probably doesn’t do anything interesting with any friends.

I was actually able to buy both Football and Basketball season tickets just a few weeks ago right after getting the little postcard saying it would be available for purchase on July 21.

Cool kids climb the hill which is actually 10000% more fun

Whose going to the big C during the USC home game
