Cal Grant A or B?

<p>I am eligible for both Cal grant A and B. B is about $1,000 towards books or whatever I need, and A is about $6,000 towards tuition only. After the first year I believe that I can get both. But as of now I don't know whether to use A or B the first year? I've been told that staying with grant B gives more money in the long run.</p>

<p>Anyone have any experiences with Cal Grants that is willing to give me advice.</p>
