Cal Grant A or B?

<p>I am qualified for Cal Grant A and B, but my Cal grant papers show me listed as a Cal grant B receiver. I have to turn in a paper to change which school i will be attending, so I'm wondering if there is a difference? Should I request them to change it to Cal Grant A?</p>

<p>I was originally offered a Cal Grant A. When I informed the CA Student Aid Commission that I have picked UCLA as my final choice, they changed my award to a Cal Grant B. </p>

<p>I meet the gpa requiremnt for an A so I dunno why changed me to a B.</p>

<p>that's weird, i thought your school choice shouldn't have any affect on which cal grant you get because that's not one of the variables. hmm...</p>

<p>The 3 CA colleges I was considering were USC, Cal, and UCLA. I originally was offered Cal Grant As for USC and UCLA, and a B for Cal. </p>

<p>Btw, my Pell Grant also went down from 7k to 4k.</p>

<p>pell grants don't even go up to $7000. about $4000 is the max.</p>
