<p>Hi:</p>
<p>When I was looking at information for UCLA financial aid, I noticed that if I were to receive a Cal Grant, then my existing scholarships that were given by UCLA (namely, a large freshman scholarship award) would be decreased. </p>
<p>I was wondering if the same would happen to me if I used my Cal Grant for UC Berkeley. </p>
<p>In terms of UCB gift aid, I received</p>
<p>Conditional UC Freshman Scholarship $8,457.00<br>
Conditional UC Middle Income Fee Grant $3,500.00<br>
Total Gift Aid $11,957.00 </p>
<p>And the Cal Grant A that I would receive if I either attended Berkeley or UCLA would be $11,124.</p>
<p>If I change my school of attendance on the website to Cal to use my Cal Grant, would my aid be reduced from these other scholarships? I really hope it's not the same situation as UCLA.</p>
