Cal grant and financial aid package

Berkeley gave me an off campus FinAid package, but I haven't accepted it. I'm not sure if I'll be living on or off campus. I don't know if I can appeal after I've accepted the aid.

Anyway, to the point. I just receive a letter from cal grant asking for some info. I know I'll qualify, but it's not on my FinAid. If I get the cal grant will they adjust my FinAid; meaning, will they deduct the UG grant and tack on the cal grant or will I receive extra funds?

Also, if I were accept my FinAid now, will that affect the cal grant once it gets approved?

I hope everyone understand what I'm trying to ask. It's still too early for me to make it clear. =)

haha, i follow it. even if you accept whichever portions of the aid package, berkeley fao will revise it upon any new information (ie. calgrant, outside scholarships, etc.) and would thus update your package with (most likely) a reduced UG grant. overall you would get the same amount of aid, but in this case just from different sources.

double: Thanks for the response!
