Cal Grant B award?

<p>Hey I'm quite confused on the awards. </p>

<p>NEW Cal Grant B
Total Award Amount: $6,945
Tuition/Fees: $5,472
Access/Books & Supplies: $1,473</p>

<p>BUT
Grants & Scholarships

FEDERAL PELL GRANT $2,448 $2,447 $4,895
STATE UNIVERSITY GRANT $2,736 $2,736 $5,472

<p>So... do i get all $6,945? or is that $5,472 a copy of the state university grant and they're just giving me $1,473.
I want to double check because I don't want to make my mom happy thinking shell have $5k more than I told her. I just said I'm getting an extra grant cuz I'm transferring (she knows I'll give the checks to the family). lol... yeah I mean eventually I'll figure it out when school starts but it'll make us less stressed :)</p>

<p>if you guys were wondering:</p>

<p>if you accept cal grant you can’t get the university grant (hence same number $5472)
but you still do get that $1473 allowance :slight_smile: </p>
