Cal Grant B

<p>So I'm about to go to a community college and i got a cal grant b for $1,473. My questions are, is the $1,473 given to me monthly or yearly? Will it be able to cover for my tuition fee? I haven't been to the school yet but on the webgrants4students website it says that my remaining eligibilty (years) is 0 why is that?</p>

Cal Grant B
• Provides grant funds to help pay for your tuition, student fees and other educational costs in a for- credit instructional program of not less than one academic year in length.
• Pays up to $1,473 per academic year for access costs such as living expenses, transportation, supplies and books.
• Pays tuition and fees for students attending a Cal Grant eligible 4-year college, beginning in their second year.
• Pays access costs of up to $1,473 at a CCC until you transfer to a tuition/fee-charging school and become eligible for both tuition/fees and access costs.
