Cal Grant change schools?

<p>In WebGrants, only USC is listed as my school, but I want to change the school, because USC isn't my top priority.</p>

<p>When I try to click the Search by Academic Year (2014-2015), this message pops up:
School Changes or Leave of Absence requests can only be made when your Cal Grant has been renewed. In the meantime, you have the option of submitting a school change or housing status change request by clicking the "Future School/Housing Change" link above.</p>

<p>However, the "Future School/Housing Change" link is for Renewal Students, which I'm not? (I'm entering college.)</p>

<p>Also, does the Cal Grant apply only for USC since that's the only school listed?

<p>When you know or sure which school you’ll be attending, you can change the Cal Grant to that school. Don’t know the exact mechanism for doing it, but if you can’t figure it out, you can contact the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) for help. You’ll find their contact info on the WebGrants site.</p>
