- Due to the limited number of awards and keeping in compliance with state statue, CA Dream Act applicants will not be considered for a Community College Cal Grant award during the September 2nd competitive award cycle.
So I signed up for FAFSA but I need to sumbit my GPA. I called my high school’s registrar office & the high school can’t electronically upload my GPA to CalGrant/mygrantinfo because I am not currently enrolled. Note: I graduated 2012 starting fall @ cc.
I then read this: If you or your school submitted a paper Cal Grant GPA Verification Form it may take 6 - 8 weeks to process to our database.
I a worried because: * Due to the limited number of awards and keeping in compliance with state statue, CA Dream Act applicants will not be considered for a Community College Cal Grant award
during the September 2nd competitive award cycle.
I am a ‘Dreamer’/on DACA
Should I be worried? How can I speed things up??
Thanks
