Cal Grant GPA Verification Mistake

Hello,

My school is electronically submitting our GPA Verifications, so I decided to check to make sure mine was sent in the other day.
However, I learned that the wrong GPA was sent!
I have a 3.95 UW, and the school submitted a 3.78 because my counselor miscalculated it.

So my school is going to resubmit the correct one (this can be done right?), but is there a way that I can conclusively make sure that the one in the Cal Grant database is the correct one, and not the old one?

A 3.95 and a 3.78 is a significant difference right?

The Cal Grant GPA only uses the sophomore year, summer after sophomore year, junior year, and summer after junior year. Could that account for the difference?

As I understand it, the only important thing about the Cal Grant GPA is whether you have over 3.0 for the Cal Grant A, or over 2.0 for the Cal Grant B. The difference between two high-3's GPA's shouldn't have an impact on your grant eligibility.
