Cal grant now what?

<p>You can keep it on your FAFSA if you like. Just don’t have it at the top. I know it sounds stupid, but someone who didn’t do this was screwed out of a cal grant because they had their CC as their first school on the FAFSA and the CSAC told them that they needed to put a UC at the top to get the cal grant.</p>

<p>That person later ended up getting a “UC grant” that made up entirely for their cal grant, but it’s probably not a guarantee that you’ll get this UC grant at the UC that you decide to attend after getting accepted, so I’m just trying to save you guys trouble by telling you this now. </p>
