Cal Grant Question?! Please Help!!

Hi guys I’m planning to transfer to an UC next fall but on my Cal Grand I received an Email requesting me to complete
Transfer Entitlement Certification Form.

HOWEVER, one of the requirements states “attend a California Community College during the 2015-16 academic year and then transfer to a qualifying California institution that offers a bachelors degree for the 2016-17 year.”

My question is since I will still be attending a CC in the 2016-2017 school year, does that mean my Cal Grand will be declined? Does that mean I will have to reapply next year so that I will have Cal Grand for when I transferred next fall?

Call the cal grant people. You may be required to file an appeal to get it extended another year, but we cant help much with that - theyll know.

@Escapyst Thank you for your suggestion I finally was able to reach someone on the phone, they suggested for to update my entitlement certification form. Now I’m waiting for my application to be processed
