Yes, I believe I did.

I will talk to my community college financial aid department about this tomorrow.

Thank you.

I’m in the same situation. I’d appreciate you telling us what you found out on monday!

hey what gives? I just got the cal grant email but im also having issues logging in

I’ve updated my calgrant info and i’ve been awarded the Cal Grant B. However, this doesn’t show up on my UC Davis awards site… I’m gonna call them tomorrow. But just out of curiousity… would this cal grant be ON top of all the aid I get from UCDavis as well?

never mind I fianlly got through

Anyone else still seeing ‘pending’?

I just got a renewal email. I had my cal grant A put on hold back in 2008 because I went to a CC. I switched my school and now I have been awarded 10k

So I can’t finish my update until I choose a college to go to…sheesh…

im confused, mine has a green check by gpa verification and 2010-2011 FAFSA but it says my app status is awaiting processing but the thing is i have no idea what this cal grant stuff is I never applied to any of this? what is going on sweet if I get money randomly but can someone explain this stuff to me? btw does UCLA take this calgrant stuff into consideration when giving me my reward? they gave me about 4k

@ rahrah203

I’m stuck at that part too. :(

@ dcsportsfan

From what I understand, UCLA already estimates/takes into account your Cal Grant award. It should not change your FA.

The stupid website won’t let me register or even retrieve my account. What is going on? Why won’t they let me sign in?

Seriously… my Social Security number is 100% correct. And my name is correct too. My birthday was in this format: mm/dd/yyyy

What is going on?
WHAT IS GOING ON!
WHAT IS GOING ON???

Calm down. Call them. Many of us had the same problem.

@ edelynly

So many of you had the problem?

Do many of you still have the problem?

Wait a minute, I already registered for Cal Grant a year ago. I don’t really need to access my webgrant account, or do I?

I had the problem, same with a handful of other kids on here. I called (prepare to wait up to 20 minutes on hold…) and they helped me out.

Do you have a hyphen or space in your name at all? That was my problem.

poetryrocksalot I believe you need to access this website to update your school…That is, if your attending another college since the last time you applied for the Cal Grant.

I can’t update my school until I pick one…so for now I’m stuck on that part along with lostmarch. lol

I’m calling the Cal grant people right now and I’ve been on hold for more than two hours now-- frustrating! I feel like just hanging up.

There are no hyphens in my name. Like I said: I didn’t mess up with the registration.

Hahahaha hokay. Hold your horses. That’s what I thought, too. It’s not you that messed up, it’s the system. What I input for Calgrant registration was not the exact same thing I input for FAFSA (like it asks you to).

I don’t know what I am doing wrong. It still won’t let me apply with my social security number.

I called customer support atleast 10 times.

Here are three scenarios:

I tried e-mail:

Here is what happened:
I didn’t follow the format provided in my FAFSA during registration. Do it again but follow the FAFSA format of my information AND try to type my name is all capital letters.

Whoever made the webgrant website and system should quit his job.
