<p>Hey I checked my cal grant status online and it says that my school of attendance is UCI. For both Cal grants A and B the status it reads
"school of Attendance: 00131400 00 UNIV OF CA - IRVINE"</p>
<p>when I click the link to change schools it says
"School change or Leave of Absence cannot be made at this time."</p>
<p>what do I do? I'm so confused. Is anyone else getting this problem because I got 0 dollars in grants from UCSD so i really want cal grants.</p>
<p>the server may be under maintenance right now. Did you receive a preliminary financial award notice from UCSD?</p>
<p>uh do you mean viewing the preliminary financial award stuff on triton link ?</p>
<p>yeah… anyway when you go to cal grant page, ther is a page that shows all the schools that are eligible for the cal grant that you may receive… so the first school thats on the list is listed as your “school of attendance”. You just have to request a school change on one of the cal grant pages, not too sure… or something like that… I don’t know why they do it like this anyway…</p>
<p>You can change on the website. Follow the instructions there and your set! i have the same problem, can’t change yet for some reasonXD</p>
<p>After you change the school…do you need to do anything else? Like contact the school itself?</p>

<p>last year, when they sent me an estimate for cal grant(s) and stuff (it was the first notification from the California Student Aid Commission that I got after I filled out my FAFSA), they also included a form to change schools or to fix any other errors, which is what I filled out to correct it.</p>
