Cal Grants / Smart Grants

My financial aid offer shows all my fees being covered by grants, but not anything more to live on.
Since I will be in my third year and the fees are all covered already, am I even eligible for any kind of Cal Grant? Has anyone received a SMART grant before, and if so, how much did you actually get?

SMART grant requires pell eligibility and that you are majoring in specific degrees. Mostly sciences, math, languages but the degree has to be listed by your school as a SMART eligible grant. Your school should have a list of their SMART eligible grants. You must also be a junior or senior and have at least a 3.0 GPA. If you are eligible I would have expected it to be in your FA award. SMART is $4000 (my daughter has the SMART grant). Unfortunately 2010-2011 is the last year for the SMART and ACG programs.

Thanks for the answer. I meet all the requirements, but don’t see it in my awards. Maybe it’s too early? I was also wondering if it is always $4000 or if it depends on how many people get it.
