i think the 7 at the end means a triple..
cuz i have a 7 at the end of mine
then my roomates are 6 & the other 5
just a guess.

that sucks...i really didn't want a triple :(

what does this mean? DE-411-5

I currently live in Cunningham, and boy has the first floor been worn down. The bathroom lock on one of the stalls is broken, the ceiling tiles in the hallway have on more than 1 occasion been broken down/taken off, one room has been infested with some kind of avian lice, lights in the study lounge have been broken, fire extinguisher glass case broken, the hallway floor trashed like no other, mouse infestation (there's one in my room!), so many things broken in individual rooms (someone punched a hole in their closest, some people have burn marks on their furniture/carpet), etc. This is actually a notice that was put up on all of our doors after a certain weekend:

ATTENTION!
Dear Residents of Cunningham 1st Floor,

Since August 18th, 2007 you have consistently abused our Unit with no respect given to our staff. Last week, ending October 28th, 2007, was the last time you will vomit and destroy our facilities without consequence. Any further reports of your bad behavior will mean a call to your parents, lock down of ALL restrooms, closure of the lounge, and charges to your CARS account for the replacement of ALL damaged common area carpets and furnishings. This MUST stop ere and now!

I imagine the dorms and first floor will be cleaned by Fall 2008.

i sent an email asking about the room reservation

Dear Student

What you believe is your room reservation was in fact a glitch in our system. We have not begun phase 2 and it will not begin for a couple more days. Official offers will be made later this week and will be sent to you via email. This email will contain more information regarding your offer and how to accept it.

Best,

Cal Housing

although it still doesn't explain why my requested roommate and i both had the same room reservation (different final number). so maybe the lottery is still going on, but the room reservations are correct?

Room Reservation: NO-106-6

what does that mean?!

It means.. uh Norton. 1st floor room 6, bed/person 6.. probably a triple. is that what you wanted?

nooooooooooooooooo :(

i put unit 1 and 2 doubles and 1 and 2 doubles in suites for my choices....

i really do not want a triple

yea that means triple.

wait...so what does this mean? do we get the same room as what is says right now, when they send the official housing email????

what does this DE-411-5 mean???

what's dearborn? lol

it's Deutsch

de-411 = Deutsch (unit 1), 4th Floor. I'm guessing that anything over a 2 after the room number means a triple, but I'm guessing that they're still in the process of doing the match-ups, so they might have a number of people assigned that may change depending on compatibility or something.

Not that they have a really keen idea on figuring out matches with the minimalist questions they ask. Housing really needs to rethink it, and add things like musical tastes, political views, and what not.

IS-7XX-6

can anybody decode this for me?
espeically "6" at the end?

Noooooooooo Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

is it a glitch for real?

is there ANY way i can change mine to double......?

for my friend...

what about DE-6XX-2?

is "2"double? or triple?

i believe thats a double
