Well..the rumor is that.. 1,2 are doubles.. 4,5,6 are triples... Whether you want to believe that.. it's up to you haha.. :) Well all these are "unofficial" still.. according to berkeley..it's a glitch..so who knows.

OMG THIS IS HORRIBLE

i wish i had picked UCLA

jk. but still.

7 is a triple too? my roommates & i are 5-6-7.

yea.. 5,6,7 not 4,5,6.
but this is all...speculation..so don't count on it ;)

I called as my son got a 5. I was concerned it was a suite and the lady in the admissions office said it's not. So I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the number of bed.

Letters indicate suites. Numbers lower than three seem to indicate doubles and numbers higher than four are triples, at least that's what the current guess is.

My entire 2008-2009 box disappeared, along with my housing reservation.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Same here.

I suspect that the housing office didn't want the room assignments to go out. They took the application offline a couple of days ago, but of course the room assignments were still visible on the page where the Fall applicaiton could be selected.

Someone realized that fix #1 didn't hide the information. Now fix #2 is to hide the Fall Application option alltogether, at least until they email the assignments later this month.

I clicked continue on Phase 2. The hypotheses were right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It says that I am in a double in Unit 2.

Now, not only is the 2008-2009 box missing, but the top choices are only Home and Profile . . . Application has entirely disappeared!

Wonder if this is what happens as each account is processed?

nhsharvard was able to move onto Phase II, indicating that the official housing offers are on their way out (assuming nhsharvard is an entering Freshman)

I am an entering freshman.

rider730, maybe they're loading up your data.

c'mon App tab, show up :(

I am an entering freshman, and am also able to move on to Phase 2.

If anyobody wants this information, it tells me that my deadline is May 29.

i got my official email indicating my housing offer. i can move to phase 2 now. woo!

oh, but darn that 300 dollar deposit.

Moved on to phase II !

does anybody know when we get to know about the specifics? (room assignment, etc.)

I'm a fall admit and my housing application has yet to be updated. I've checked the housing link from the berkeley app site periodically over the past several days. I realize that the deadline is tomorrow and normally wouldn't worry about not having an assignment yet; however, since EVERY other fall admit I know has already gotten, at least, the code for their housing, I'm a little worried.
If anyone has any info that would be awesome, Thanks.

SO WEIRD!!! i got an email with the UCB housing offer...but when i click on the link, i see the same page i saw BEFORE i even applied for housing:

"Now you are ready to apply for University Housing. To get started, please click on the Profile tab (see above) to verify your personal information and choose a screen name. Your screen name may be used by other students to search for a roommate. Click on the Application tab at any time to begin or resume your application process."
