Cal Housing offers out.

Loski - Well *. I read almost the entire new G.I. bill, as well as how it applies to FAFSA, and they specifically said it G.I. do not effect FAFSA aid. This is *ty. I was working on submitting my FAFSA here pretty soon. Oh well, I suppose it doesn’t matter if we use grants & loans now and G.I. Bill later, or G.I. Bill now and grants & loans later.

Also, I saw those triple occupancy dorms and apartments. They’re terrible. They expect you to live like some kind of animal. I mean it’s probably great for students who are 18-19. The money off the G.I. Bill combined with a part time job should allow you to afford a decent off-campus place. That’s what I’m doing.

Wow, I am an incoming transfer student, applied for 1) wada, 2) unit 2 suite 3) Channing apartments. They slipped me in six blocks away at that Spanish retreat [jail] called Clark Kerr in a tripple for $15K. They can shove it.

Anyone know how the appeals process works? I’ve been in person to the Cal housing office on Channing, they were useless. ****ES me off. At least the two women in the Haas office were as friendly as could be.

Don’t exactly want to deal with this housing bs…I wanted freaking wada, I’m going to look for some apartments now. Seriously, are they nuts? $15K for a tripple a 20 minute walk from campus? Insane.
