I got accepted into Cal as a Spring admit so going there is largely dependent on whether or not I get into their FPF program. If I go to Cal, I'd have some debt. If I go to BU, I'd have about 20k more debt. My third option would be going to UCSD would be free because I live in San Diego. I don't really want to go to UCSD even though it'd be the smartest financial choice because I can't see myself staying here for four more years, although I do love the area. In my mind, BU and Cal are pretty equal: there are actual seasons at each school, both are urban, both offer study abroad in the places I'd like, and I have people I know in each area in case I get lonely or whatnot. Any advice about their premed programs that would tip the scales in favor of one over the other? Also, is it really that big of a deal to follow the money?
