Cal Poly Advanced Math

When they say two years of advanced math does that mean two years of AP math like Calc AB and Calc BC or anything past Algebra 2 like Trig/Pre-Calc

Pre-Calc and Calc AB.

If however you took AB as a Junior they will expect that you are taking BC as a Senior. If you bailed to Stats or Finite math, they will frown on that. They’re looking for maximum possible rigor.

Anything past Algebra 2. Some schools don’t offer Calc BC. My son took Calc AB as junior, and then AP stats as senior. I believe that is considered additonal math as well. Good luck.

I don’t believe AP Stats and Finite Math count towards your rigor in math.

What I stated in my previous post was just a repeat of what the director of admissions told our tour group.
