i will be a freshman this year at cal poly majoring in business administration and playing for the golf team. i just received my schedule… when i first accepted to attend cal poly, they asked me if i wanted to be in an accelerated program in the business college… i picked the design and business collaboration thinking it sounded interesting and possibly a good road to take even though i didnt know much about it. (program below)

[Design & Business Collaboration Undergraduate Degree Programs](http://www.cob.calpoly.edu/undergraduate/prospective-student-resources/design-business-collaboration/)

my schedule changed to the classes the program has you on a timeline:
PHYS 104-01: MW 8:10-10am

BUS 207-03: TR 9:10-11am

IT 330-05: TR 3:10-4:30pm (*Lab options: M 12:10-3pm, M 3:10-6pm, W 3:10-6pm)

ART 111-01: TR 8:10-10pm

BUS 100-04: F 1:10-2pm

i’m not entirely sure if i want to do the program still as i dont know what type of jobs it prepares for/is it the same degree?..a friend told me the program restricts you to their picked classes and that you can’t really choose the classes you want to take–are they different than the regular business administration classes or the same and just in different order? people are saying it might be a tough schedule for the first quarter…

if anyone knows anything about or anyone who was in the program, please give me some details on what the program really does, is it worth it (especially transitioning into first quarter while also playing golf on the team), if its the same degree, etc etc

im still undecided on what concentration/what exactly in business i want to do…i liked the entrepreneur program at open house; im creative, like to work with people, a hard worker, kinda artistic, etc and dont know if this program is good? the schedule they had preset before the program picked my final schedule was a communications oral presentation class, a ge of psychology, student orientation and business success, and legal responsibilities of business

do i change back the original schedule/opt out of the program…or stay in?

ANY HELP PLEASE? :)
