It’d be great if those of you accepted or not accepted could breakdown your info as follows:

SLO Portal

Received FASA reminder on Saturday.

Good luck to everyone!

I’m wondering if all/most schools send an FASA reminder before acceptance notifications as the same thing happened with acceptance to UC Irvine. Anyone see a pattern here?

Accepted 2/19
Northern California
4.3 Cal Poly GPA
1260 SAT
Business Administration
SLO Portal

This is my top choice, I’m excited!
Good luck to everyone and congrats to those who’ve had the pleasure of being accepted as well!

Just checked with Admissions - they are starting to acknowledge students today.

Nothing yet on my portal.

Bay area resident applying as a bio major.

Terrified because my Cal Poly GPA is really low (3.3). That said, my SAT is 2320, and I have fairly solid EC’s.

Accepted! 2/19
CA Resident (local high school)
GPA: 4.33+? I forgot but have taken almost all APs and full AP course load senior year.
SAT or ACT score: 30
Major: Biological sciences
SLO Portal

Still waiting on UCLA! Used to hate CP because I’m from the area… but lately I’ve been visiting older friends there and have realized it’s a great school!

I hope this gives hope for those that don’t have the high stats that I’m seeing on this thread, but is a well rounded student. My son applied ED because Cal Poly SLO was his first choice. Did not get in ED, got a letter saying he would be considered RD. Got his email acceptance on Feb. 14th, checked portal after that to make sure (it said congrats too).

GPA - 3.30
SAT - 1700
ACT - 24
21+ hours worked in major applied
10+ A week EC’s
65+ Community Service in Jr & Sr year (HS required)
Agriculture Eng.
He did go to a Jesuit college prep high school, I’m thinking they took that into consideration.
Good luck to all ~ looking for any other Oregonians who may have been accepted.

is there such a thing as a well rounded student for CP? They only ask for GPA, SAT, and the EC part of the app just simply asks how many hours. How is EC relevant?

Has anyone from the Bay Area gotten in today?
3.7 Cal Poly GPA
2170 SAT (1460 without writing)
Comp Sci major.
Also, are the majors coming out in alphabetical order? Because I see that the in-state admits are majoring in Agricultural Eng, Business Admin, Biological Sciences etc
So maybe Comp Sci is coming out tomorrow :P

I’m pretty sure that you don’t list ECs on your CSU app…you just put in the hours.

ECs mean nothing for Cal Poly.

exactly! there’s almost no point in mentioning it here in this thread, unless of course you put that you worked no hours of volunteer on your app…
