I am under a strict timeline here, since Cal Poly's housing deadline is today, and I cannot get priority for housing until I accept their admittance.
I am planning on majoring in computer engineering, and I am not sure which school has a better program. I know that UCSC has projects that the undergrad students work on, where they try to solve a real world problem by working from scratch to build something, and hat sounds really cool to me. I know very little about Cal Poly. Any insight is appreciated

All I know, is that Cal Poly's engineering program is really good. And their motto is like "learning by doing" or something like that. California employers really like Cal Poly's approach to education, and Cal Poly is known for their engineering and architecture programs, but not much else.

On the other hand, UCSC is a pretty well rounded school, but it is also more known for their biological sciences.

I would go to Cal Poly cuz I like their location and campus better.

I got into UCSC and Cal Poly too, so I'm just putting in my opinion :]

P.S.- If you go to Cal Poly- do your housing app ASAP!! last year, they filled up in 2 weeks...
