Cal Poly Pamona (Mech Eng) vs San Jose State University (ME) vs University of Riverside (Bioeng)

@DarkEclipse i have 20 minutes to decide :frowning:
I feel like it would be smarter for me to go to CPP but more of a life experience to go to SJSU. I’m a single, lonely 22 year old guy who needs life to happen to me. I just don’t know if CPP can do that for me. When I went to the dorms too, a bunch of girls and a guy laughed and made fun of me when turned around after asking a question (CPP).

Ehh… This sucks.

5 minutes to decide :open_mouth:

Someone KILL ME NOW

Questions:

  1. Would it be easier to get a all A's in CPP or SJSU? Basically, which schools has better professors?
  2. Which school will be a better choice as a school to transfer from for applying for a graduate school? I want to get a masters in ME.
  3. I'm 22 and have lived in Southern California all of my life. Should I go to SJSU to experience a whole new environment and grow on my own? (This question is highly weighed upon the first two questions, but is equally as important.)
  4. As an ME major, which school would have more job opportunities?

I seriously have no idea about SJSU.
Have you decided?

Somebody already killed him.

Just kidding. Let us know which school you chose.

@coolweather Yo whats up bro my name is Dead and I will be seeing you when you die too. Hahaha just kidding. @DarkEclipse and @coolweather I think I will choose CPP since it seems like I will be having a hard time getting classes at SJSU. I will be heading towards a masters degree so I hope transferring from CPP won’t be too bad. It is a sacrifice going to CPP instead of SJSU to me though because the demographics of CPP and because Pomona is Boring and Hot. SJSU is in the center of a beautiful metropolitan and my mother owns a beach house that is 45 minutes away. I feel like I am going to regret this choice but a lot of logical people have bad things to say about SJSU.

It also won’t feel at all like I will have a college experience since I know Pomona well and since CPP is legitely a commuter school.

@catnhat Thanks for letting us know. Hope you have a great time at CPP.

I never thought SJSU is a fun college. My cousins went there, IIRC it’s near the dump. But I never actually been there. To me Cal Poly is a better choice. I think it has a beautiful campus and the horses.

@DrGoogle Yeah horses are nice. Both of my neighbors has a bunch of them. It’ll just be an extension of my home I feel, but in a great school. Hopefully the students at CPP are more outgoing and lifely than they seemed yesterday.

@DarkEclipse No, thank You. For the help.

You’re welcome
