I got a provisional acceptance from Cal Poly Pomona a couple months ago and just paid an enrollment deposit and housing deposit. Is there anything else I need to do? For other colleges I have to accept or decline my offer of admission by April 1? Does Cal Poly Pomona require this and if so where do I do this? I have looked on my Bronco Direct and haven’t found anywhere to do this at.

Well, my financial aid was chosen for verification so I was required to fill out forms to turn in regarding my financial status. I was admitted as an ME major so I also signed up for their engineering day. Oh, and I’m not sure if this is just for math oriented majors, but I was emailed about taking a math placement test called the MDPT, but I was exempt for scoring a 4 on my AP Calc AB test last year. So if all of that is taken care of/doesn’t apply, then I think all you really have to do is sign up for orientation.

What were your stats? I applied for ME as well but still not decision :(

@Dimas12227

GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.2 W
SAT: 1910
7 APs

Don’t be too worried about it! I still hear about people getting in! Just be patient :)

I have a 3.96 UW and 1500 SAT …
Think i have a chance?

Your SAT score is a bit on the low side but your GPA is very impressive! I really can’t gauge whether or not you have a chance, but I definitely don’t think you should cast yourself aside just yet! I think you have a reason to be optimistic.

Gpa:3.76
sat:1300
act:17

Hahaha im very optimistic btw, thank you and i hope i get in … ive been accepted to most of my other schools. So fingers crossed

Well, here’s hoping! Let me know if you get in :)

I was accepted to cal poly with an sat of a 1050. Quite surprising. I do not know how I was able to get accepted.

@oreocory132 It depends on what your major is. The SAT scores for engineering are going to be way higher than for liberal arts majors. What’s your major?

Oh god really?! Because I was planning on changing it :o well I places political science and I wanted to change into environmental biology.

@oreocory132 hello! I was wondering what’s your GPA? I applied as a political science major also and haven’t heard anything yet :(

Oh hello! My gpa is a 3.4 weighted and 3.2 unweighted. Are you sure it doesnt?
