I just get an email saying that my application has been reviewed but it's incomplete because it's missing my college transcripts. I thought they only ask for transcripts when I'm accepted into the university?

I’m not sure about Cal Poly, but SDSU doesn’t allow you to mail your transcripts unless you’ve been accepted. So maybe you have been accepted that’s why they’re asking?

Hmm… the admission status still says “application received” though so I don’t think I got admitted yet. :

I too got the same email and sent them all my transcripts. I had never heard this about being admitted so therefore they ask for transcripts? How would they know your grades before?

I’m not sure. Did you guys have to do a supplemental application?

Nope, they only asked for my transcripts.

Some colleges want you to send your transcripts ASAP. Others like SDSU, only want them after they’ve accepted you so that they can verify everything you’ve put down on the Supplemental application.

I haven’t been asked to submit transcripts neither.

They only ask for transcripts if you’re a transfer student who applied to an impacted major. It’s part of the supplemental appkucation

Sent from my SGH-T999 using CC

Is there anything else to do after I submit my transcripts? So does Pomona have a supplemental application aside from the transcripts or do you mean the application is the supplemental application?

I applied for Civil Engineering. I got an email in Dec/early Jan asking for official transcripts by Jan 30. BroncoDirect has my status as ready for review.

That’s what my status says as well.

@Corgi What majors did you apply for?

Electrical engineering w/ applied mathematics as a secondary choice.

Sweet. Being from out-of-state makes me nervous. Good luck to us both!

Oh you’re out of state… That’s a different issue then. California residents (in-state) get priority to all the CSU’s (and UC’s IIRC) :

Yeah. That’s the downfall to being a military spouse/veteran. You’ve got to get 'ir done wherever you can. If we were staying here I could do the NC State 2 + 2 engineering program (similar to USC’s 3 + 2) from my CC now. Even though I’m a California resident born and raised, I’m still considered out of stats for app purposes. :-/

Hmm… my status just changed to “Referred to Impacted Plan,” I know my major is impacted (all engineering majors are impacted at cpp) but does that mean I should just forget about cpp now? I’ve been reading about how people that were on the “Referred to Impacted Plan” status got rejected in early march then accepted in late june and some people never heard back from them. I live like 20min away from cpp so I could always just drive there and ask them myself but what do you guys think I should do?

I already got provisionally accepted into sjsu/csulb and accepted into csula (this is my backup).

Accepted to SDSU, but CPP still says ready for review… blerg.

@Corgi, CPP is your backup or LA?

I know exactly how you feel. Since my mother works for the government and my father was in the military we move(d) around a lot. I’m so upset I had to move from San Diego, things may have been a bit easier for me (school wise)… I can only hope/pray I get in now! lol Congrats @PurrOnYou
