Cal Poly Pomona Fall 2017 Transfer Thread

Got accepted yesterday!

Mines still says documentation required  emailed them too. All others were recieved but that one Transcript hasn’t been processed even thiugh it was sent/recieved in mid January.
CS gpa 3.26(3.33 after my grade change a few weeks ago due to an error but didn’t send updated transcript).

@Panitaispretty Congrats!!

Congrats to all that were accepted!!! That’s so exciting! I am starting to lose hope since I am a biochem major and most of the chem/bio/engineering majors got accepted yesterday. Mine still says 'pending admissions decision." :-S

Engineering transfers? I don’t see any posted acceptances from them yet.

@justinmega1 thanks!!! I’m so excited

Just checked my portal and I got accepted in business info systems.
2.8 gpa ADT by spring. All pre reqs done
Congrats to everyone who got accepted

@lankysequoia sorry it was from another thread 2 acceptances posted for EE and one computer engineering. But they might be freshman admit. I thought there was one for chemE too.

yes, I got accepted as a transfer student from RCC, my major electrical engineering

Did you guys get the “Send official transcripts by April 1st” pn your To Do list??? I am barely going to complete my 60 units this Spring. Is official transcript the same as final? I’m gonna call Monday but if you guys know, I’d appreciate it.

A classmate was accepted evening 2/24 for Computer Information Systems with a ~3.2 GPA and a Business Admin AS-T. Still waiting for my results, my Application Status for Comp. Sci still says “Ready for Decision” ):

Accepted two days ago! Didn’t receive an email besides asking for my transcript (email didn’t mention being accepted or not).
Had to check Broncodirect to see I was provisionally accepted.

Major: Political Science
GPA: 3.2 (with .1 bump)
AA-T: yes
Other schools applied to: CSULB (accepted), CSULA (accepted) and CSUF (pending).
I’m curious about CPP because it’s so STEM oriented that I feel like as a Political Science major, CPP wouldn’t be a good match for me. Anyone have thoughts about non-STEM majors going to CPP? I applied mainly because I’m a local transfer.

Just got accepted last night.

Major: Bus Admin, CIS
GPA: 3.8
AA-T: Yes

It was the only school I applied for, but I am having my doubts now. I’ve come too far to turn back now I guess.

My first acceptance. Super thankful.

Major: Business Administration - Accounting
Current College/University: ELAC
IGETC: No, I didn’t follow IGETC because I wasn’t really interested in UC’s
Major Prep: Yes - Econ 1+2, Accounting 1+2, Calculus and Statistics
GPA: 3.86
ECs: Not relevant for CSU schools
In-State, Out-of-State: In-state, local

Hmm… I’m wondering when Foods & Nutrition (Dietetics) majors will be getting their acceptance letters. I have nothing to go off of because I haven’t seen anyone else on the forums going for this major.

I got into all CSUs I applied to (SJSU, CSULA, CSULB, Cal Poly Pomona) and still waiting on SDSU, UCR, & UCD before making my final decision.

DENIED!

Major: Comp Sci
IGETC: 3 GEs remaining
Pre-Reqs: Missing 1
GPA: 3.05

sucks to suck, but w/e I’m content.

Remember kids, GPA is based how well you take tests. It doesn’t determine your worth or skills! Good luck!

@LeroyJohnson Which pre-reqs: did you miss? Doesn’t Cal Poly only require Cal I, II, III and Golden 4 for transfer?
