<p>Mostly a question for incoming freshmen or anyone who knows…I’ve already paid my housing deposit and filled out the mini survey that went along with it, but does that mean that Pomona is going to have the final say in who we are rooming with? Just curious because I know at many schools my friends are attending they were given their matches and then able to choose who they would like to room with. Thanks</p>
<p>Yes, poly pomona has the final say in everything. I think you are just randomly put with someone with preferences similar to you. Thats what the person I talked to at the school told me. The only way you could get a guaranteed room mate you wanted was if you and your friend both request each other and you both pay your deposit on time and such and there’s space.</p>
<p>It also works in your favor if you and your preferred roommate both input each other’s Bronco ID #s when you pay for your housing. My son and his friend did so, but they did not register for housing on the same day. I read somewhere that that is best to ensure you get your friend as your roommate, but I figure if they both put in each other’s ID #, they should stand a great chance.</p>
