You should have received an email to notify you of acceptance. You could also check your BroncoDirect Web portal to check admission status as suggested when you apply. I don’t know much about the Kellogg Honors Program but, in general, such programs are usually very good and provide a bit more of a challenge to those ready to grasp the opportunities. There is more specific information on the [Cal Poly Pomona](http://www.csupomona.edu) web site. Good luck!

It does not mean you have been accepted to CPP. The benefits of joining the Honors College at CPP is like… you get smaller classes, priority registration, and stuff. It’s good, go ahead and apply.

My kid got the same email and we went to the event on the 29th and applied to the Kellogg Honors program shortly thereafter. He got his general Cal Poly Pomona acceptance email and it was posted on Bronco Direct just a few days after we got back from the event. The Honors Program seems to be about 7 years old and offers priority registration, special housing, study areas and smaller (never more than 20 people per class) special classes for honors students only. Pretty good benefits.

Given the CA budget crisis and the very real possibility that there will be cuts at the state U’s, anything that lets you enroll early is worth its weight in gold! If there was no other benefit than this, it would still be worth doing.
